The Community Re-Entry Network Program is a program of the Houston Health Department. Our caring, multi-disciplinary staff is committed to addressing the needs of the "whole" person with innovative, evidence-based programming and linkage to services designed to meet the needs of formerly incarcerated persons, and interrupting the cycle of recidivism. Services include:

Career Gear promotes the economic independence of low-income men by providing financial literacy training, a network of support, professional attire, career development tools, job-readiness and essentiallife-skills training that help men enter the workforce, stay employed and become role models and mentors totheir families and communities. Services Include:
