As a department, HCCSCD is committed to working with key stakeholders to maximize our resources to effectively divert offenders from the Harris County Jail System and to decrease Harris County’s state jail and prison footprint.
Collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders are vital to the success and mission of HCCSCD. Collaborative partners allow HCCSCD to embark on a process of community engagement in order to build a sustainable system for delivering supportive services to our clients. It is through this system that HCCSCD clients are provided opportunities to grow and develop in a manner that increases their chances of success.
